This policy explains how user information is handled in the smartphone app "Norway Walk Nomad" (the "App"). The developer ("we") respects the privacy of App users and handles information in accordance with the policy set out below.

The App uses the following external services (all provided by Google). Please also review each provider's own privacy policy.
The App is not directed at any specific age group and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. As described above, the information the App collects is centred on an anonymous identifier and on-device data that does not identify an individual.
Because the App is offered in Norway, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as incorporated into the EEA Agreement, and the Norwegian Personal Data Act (personopplysningsloven) apply. The App is designed so that we hold no information that directly identifies you (we process an anonymous identifier only). Within the limits of what we hold, you have the right to request access to or a copy of data linked to your anonymous identifier, to request its correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, to object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw any consent you have given, and to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no). To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Our legal basis for the processing described above is the performance of the service you requested and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. Your data is processed on Google Cloud servers located in the EU/EEA (see section 4).
All communication with external services uses encrypted connections such as HTTPS. Access to Cloud Functions and Firestore is protected by Firebase App Check and security rules.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or in the App's features. Any updated policy takes effect once posted on this page.

Appen bruker følgende eksterne tjenester (alle tilbydd av Google). Vær også oppmerksom på hver leverandørs egen personvernpolitikk.
Appen er ikke rettet mot noen spesiell aldersgruppe og vi samler ikke med vilje personopplysninger fra barn under 13 år. Som beskrevet ovenfor, er informasjonen Appen samler sentrert rundt en anonym identifikator og på enhetsdata som ikke identifiserer en enkelt person.
Fordi appen tilbys i Norge, gjelder EU sin generelle forordning om beskyttelse av personopplysninger (GDPR), som er integrert i EØA-avtalen, samt Norges personopplysningsloven (personopplysningsloven). Appen er utformet slik at vi ikke har informasjon som direkte identifiserer deg (vi behandler kun en anonym identifikator). Innenfor grensene for hva vi har, har du rett til å be om tilgang til eller en kopi av data som er knyttet til din anonyme identifikator, å be om rettelse, sletting eller begrensning av behandlingen, å innvende behandlingen, å få dataportabilitet, å trekke tilbake eventuell samtykke du har gitt, og å klage til Norges datatilsyn (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no). For å utøve disse rettighetene, kontakt oss på adressen nedenfor. Vårt juridiske grunnlag for behandlingen beskrevet ovenfor er utførelse av tjenesten du har bedt om og vår rettige interesse i å holde tjenesten trygg. Dine data behandles på Google Cloud-servere som ligger i EU/EEA (se avsnitt 4).
Alle kommunikasjon med eksterne tjenester bruker krypterte forbindelser som HTTPS. Tilgang til Cloud Functions og Firestore er beskyttet av Firebase App Check og sikkerhetsregler.
Denne politikken kan oppdateres for å reflektere endringer i lovgivningen eller i funksjoner i appen. Enhver oppdatert politikk trer i kraft når den er publisert på denne siden.
